Challenge:

Get festival enthusiasts excited to shop for festival-ready fashion.

 

Solution:

Create a hashtag campaign that lets consumers “Strap In” to their favorite sandals for a chance to win a trip to a music festival!

  • To get festival goers excited about the footwear brand, Katz developed the #StrapInToWin social sweepstakes, leveraging the popularity of social sharing
  • Consumers were incentivized to visit brand's retail partner stores to snap and share a pic strapped into a pair of brand sandals using the hashtag for a chance to win $5,000 towards a trip to a music festival
  • DJ influencers were recruited to endorser the brand, promote the sweeps and socially amplify
  • To drive in-store traffic, local stations hosted remotes at brand's retailer locations, where street teams engaged with consumers and encouraged sweeps participation
  • On-air  spots were voiced to promote and drive traffic to the sweeps landing page and to provide festival-focused custom content to listeners
  • Display, mobile and email marketing were deployed to increase awareness
